bassike is a brand synonymous with simplicity, minimalism and an overall sense of casual chic. It’s no surprise then that walking into the redesigned flagship store in Paddington feels anything other than a minimalist’s dream space.

Partnering with Akin Creative, bassike’s founders Deborah Sams and Mary Lou Ryan have brought to life a space that is all things contemporary and premium. The two story terrace has been transformed guiding the customer through spaces of soft greys, natural timbers and general relaxed elegance. Materials have been carefully selected to reflect the DNA of the bassike brand, from hand-selected silver travertine bench tops to mirrors galore reflecting the soft, dappled light. All topped off with linen flax fitting rooms complete with sisal carpetings and artek stools.

The ground level opens out into a back courtyard complete with a magnolia tree and framed by white concrete plinth stools; a true little oasis. It's impossible not to be inspired, you’ll be taking notes for your own home and walking away with a few essential bassike pieces for your closet as well.
